Glory at the South West 10 mile TT Championships

A cool and blustery Sunday morning in Sourton on the edge of Dartmoor was the setting for another 10 mile Time Trial run by Tavistock Wheelers.  This time however, the stakes were raised as it was also the 10 mile South West District Championships, with riders battling to be crowned the regional champion.

As the results were announced, it was clear that the race was one of the closest of the season, with the top three riders separated by just one second.

Joint first place went to Revo Racing’s Liam Bard and Matt Slater, with an equal time of 20:43.  Third place was taken by Andrew Perkins of MDCC, just one second down with 20:44.

Martyn Leach (23:04), Julian Harper (23:08) and Rich Babbage (23:09) completed a very strong showing from Revo Racing.
