Bank Holiday Weekend Racing Roundup

Bank Holiday Weekend Racing Roundup

Another bank holiday weekend with questionable weather conditions saw many Revo team members in action in various events across the country.  Some great times and finishing positions, a few personal bests and lots of learning experiences to be had along the way!

Sunday 1st May 2016

Another cold and breezy springtime day in Cornwall, but a solid inaugural 50 mile time trial performance from Liam now sets him in good stead for the forthcoming National TT in June.  Julian continues to go from strength to strength, with an exemplary ride, smashing his personal best 50 mile TT time.

A personal review of the Four Firs Time Trial

A personal review of the Four Firs Time Trial

By Jenny Bolsom.

So Sunday was my first outing in a Revo Racing jersey and it was also my first proper time trial – The Four Firs sporting TT run by Exeter Wheelers.

Luckily I’m local to this event, so knew what I was in for! Unfortunately the lead up to this event couldn’t have been worse – I was out of action with flu and a chest infection and under doctors orders I was forced to ‘rest’.  This is something that I’ve never been a fan of but with so many races coming up I decided to listen to the professionals.

RACE REPORT: Betty Pharoah Road Race (Cat 3/4)

RACE REPORT: Betty Pharoah Road Race (Cat 3/4)

After a highly anticipated start to the 2016 Racing Season, our rider Jon Crouch decided to replace the smooth tarmac and sunshine after a recent Spanish retreat, for colder climes and the pot-holed roads of The Betty Pharoah Road Race in South Wales on Sunday.

With a large field of 80 riders in the Cat 3/4 event, staying up the front would be as important as ever.

After a disappointing season in 2015, Jon used everything he learnt not to do in road races and applied it to the race. This included staying up the front […] Read more
